mrgamer111 Posted February 26, 2010 Share Posted February 26, 2010 right, i had to unfortunately rewrite my OS on my comp. i got my game from my friend as he borrowed it to install on his own computer. i reinstall it and everything fine no problems with the install. then i launch fallout3launcher.exe and click start. the game comes up with this error. 'fallout 3 does not appear to be installed and the installer could not be found, try exploring to your DVD-ROM and selecting setup.exe to install game' what do i do, it's never done this before. i installed like i do always. into computer/programfiles/bethesda/fallout3how do i sort out this problem any help would be great.im running: windows vista premium.amd athlon x2 dual core3GB ddr2 memorynvidia graphics card Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mrgamer111 Posted February 26, 2010 Author Share Posted February 26, 2010 does'nt do anything, my comps updated as much as possible since i rewrote it. only problem is with fallout 3. my mate says he never had this problem which leads me to the conclusion that something f***** up somewhere. everytime i double click an icon on my desktop it says 'this file does not a have a program associated with it for proforming this action, set associations by visiting set associations control panel' what do i do about all this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
