Since most of my work I posted on Nexus are only samples, I didn't really bother about the text. It's just to prevent ripping. But... I will repeat this again, I'll keep on working on the text. :wacko: Thank you for feedback. :thanks: By the way, have you purchase any photoshop plug-ins before? Like Topaz, is it worth the money?

Nope :P The only plugin I ever used was the plugin from Nvidia for the Normal Maps...but that was way back when I was a modder :)

My latest work, I think this is my best one so far. Dir Tek, I hope the text are good this time. ;) About your new sig, the only thing I would comment about are the texts. :confused: You can do much better than that. ;)

Yeah...as I said...I'm not satisfied with the text I made :P

 

Also, the text on yours looks pretty good :D good job. I think you should add another gradient map above all layers (Red->Dark Red) and play with the Blending Mode of the map until you get a nice darker look. If you want it to look smoother, duplicate all the layers then go to Filter -> Gausian Blur -> about 15. Then play with the Blending Mode until you get the desired effect :)

Looks good to me so far :) I don't know much about Gimp, so I can't offer any assistance.

 

Try and generate some background or use a wallpaper as one (I usually use game wallpapers for backgrounds :P)

 

I would also recommend doing some tutorials, they can really help you. Teaching yourself at the start will only lead to dead ends :)
