Sort of experienced modder need work!

The Colored Rooms project could use someone to work on some well-planned, creative dungeons. You don't need to be an expert, but a little skill is appreciated and given the expansive environment of the mod, it would give you some room to hone and expand your existing talents. It's also a modular project, so you can decide how much work you want to do without being too committed to the project on a long term basis.

It's been on-going for a little over 2 years, but has always been held back due to the small team. I'm planning on resuscitating the project in April with an updated version, some changes to the project direction, recruitment drives, and hopefully a finished website, but there's nothing stopping people from jumping on the bandwagon early.

Feel like creating an new worldspace that's out of this world?

 

I've been trying to work on a new mod called "Mission to Masser," in which you get to play astronaut and go to the moon. I've been having a bit of trouble figuring out how to make the sky as it would appear from Masser, with the stars visible both day and night and Masser replaced with a great big ( really big ) planet Nirn.

By day, the sun would be very bright and the sky would be very faint and somewhat pinkish, with the stars being only dimly visible. The night would be pretty close to the normal sky of Cryodiil, with the obvious difference of not having Masser visible, being replaced by Nirn. I suppose that Secundus should look bigger and brighter as well, and where Nirn is always looming large in the sky day and night, Secundus would act like a normal moon, since it orbits Masser, not Nirn. ( check the orrery if you don't believe me, LOL! )

The terrain is easy enough, being the kind you'd find at the bottom of the bodies of water, but tinted reddish. Naturally there's no plants or water, but I'd like to include some unique gems scattered about, much like the "blueberries" of our own planet Mars. ( Martian "blueberries" are weird little round stones of mainly Hematite which are distinctly very blue in color. They are utterly unlike anything found on earth and will be worth a fortune to whoever can eventually go GET some someday ) Rock hunting isn't the reason for going, though.

Well when you get it back up and running mesage me and I'll lend a hand.

It's always been "up and running", just has had its share of delays and slow periods as any large project would. It can't be particularly active until there are people to work on stuff, but people won't want to work on stuff unless the mod is particularly active (so they can slack off, leave the project 1 week later, and claim that they did something). Hence the constant problem. If I knew how to solve it any other way then I would have.
