This is bad news for many, as a Steam survey conducted last month showed that 42% of Steam users still use XP.

We can also see here that the game will run on Dx10, apparently with no option for Dx9.

Just Cause 2 releases on the 23rd March for the 360, PS3 and PC.

Well, I knew it was a question of time, but they could have at least waited for XP's tenth birthday.

the source isn't supporting XP because it wants DX10

But I'm on the other end of the spectrum

I don't support Vista and Win 7 is (at best) questionable

so any program (game?) that requires Vista/Win7 simply lost a piece of the marketplace.

Considering the economic times

My stance is stronger than theirs.

It was going to happen sooner or later, maybe they will. I hope not though.

Well, there's one game I won't buy. I won't even...try it. So to speak.

I tried 7. I went back to XP after finding no added benefit in it, and a lot of added aggravation.

I laugh at all of the fools that refuse to use Windows 7. It's so much better than XP. XP is 9 years old. Get with the times, people.

I have nothing against 7, just vista AKA ME2. TBH like neko I see no real benefit in getting 7.

I use XP on my Laptop and Win7 on my main PC. I really think people are a tad biased. Vista with the latest updates work great as well. I'd stick with XP for older computers, but newer PCs with all the new bells and whistles will rock with Win7. ;)
