Looking for a mod, plz help

Im looking for a mod that adds items hidden across the world map. I think it would be cool just to randomly stumble upon these things. Ive searched but came up with no results, i probably just suck at life

You may or may not suck at life, but you don't handle searching too well. ;) I just searched under "Collectibles, Treasure Hunts, and Puzzles" with the word "hidden" in the description, and found two good ones. If you simply search on all Oblivion files here on TES Nexus with the word "artifacts" in the title, you'll pull a range of stuff that includes some very good mods with items hidden at various locations. Be sure to check readmes and/or comments online to see if these items are scaled to the player's level, or simply as-is--in the latter case, a young adventurer could end up becoming so powerful, so quickly, that it takes all the fun out of the game.

 

I'd also like to say a word in favor of two overhaul mods: Martigen's Monster Mod includes random but scaled runeskulls in dungeons that add nice enchantments to weapons and such. LAME, Less Annoying Magic Experience, adds tomes to enemies and loot that can be read to add new spells to a character. Both great fun.

 

I agree, finding these things can be very enjoyable. :)

I'd recommend Myths and Legends, which can be found here

 

It adds quite a few cool weapons as well as books in some of the shops describing (sometimes quite vaguely) where they were last seen. Even with these stories I still had to look up details online, they're hidden quite well at times.

but from what I see these only add items to the loot tables on enemies. I want really random stuff, similar to the glass helm that is in the ocean, crazy things like that. Or hidden on statues in Imperial City.

 

There are some but they only add like 4 or 5 items at a time. Unless there is an easier way to add these mods (Oblivion Mod Manager is what im using) its just a hassle =/
