ZulinX
I was wondering if there is a way to Import data from other plug-ins into the GECK. I'm fairly new to it, so I'm not to savvy with it's features. My example is that I like the weapons that come with FOOK, as well as a few of the new clothing items, but my computer can't handle the load of the mod as a whole, and it crawls. I was planning on rigging myself up a remedy to this situation by just adding the weapons and the clothing I like into a box somewhere, but I can't figure out how to get the data. I've been trying to figure it out for a few hours now, and I'm finally caving in, and asking for help... By the way, I do not intend on distributing this, it is for my own personal use. I pointed that out because I know how some people can be.
Quetzlsacatanango
You "import" it into GECK by checking the esp. If you're saying you just want, say, one weapon out of FOOK, the easiest way would be to open the FOOK esp (don't make it active) in GECK, make a copy of the weapon you want, place it in the world where you want it, and then save your plugin. That should give you an esp containing only your new weapon.
ZulinX
But then FOOK becomes a required file for that plug-in.
Quetzlsacatanango
Negative. That will only happen if it is an esm. I don't know if FOOK is or not. If it is you can change the flag using the FO3 Plugin utility or FO3edit I believe.
ZulinX
I'll give a shot, and let you know the results. EDIT: FOOK has an ESP and ESM, both with the same name.....
Quetzlsacatanango
I'm sure there is a straightforward way to do it but I'm not sure what it is. I'm pretty sure that FOOK consists of other mods available on nexus, so maybe you can find the one that has the weapon you want without running the whole of FOOK.
