Help with Nifskope

Hi there, I'm a noob to FO3 modding.

 

Anyway, I downloaded the FO3 modding super manual (the one that teaches you how to use Blender, Nifskope, GIMP etc.

I followed the tutorials through, but had a number of problems.

 

1. The ashtray textures wouldn't display in Blender

 

2. Neither the ashtray or 'MrBlockhead' textures appeared in Nifskope, although I was able to follow all the conversion instructions. See image below

I did check the texture directories, which seemed to be correct

 

3. In the GECK tutorial (near end of manual), I could not get the Blockhead model to replace the ashtray model. Trying to do this cause the GECK to crash. See image

A possible major cause to my problems may be that I cannot get the NifLib files to install, but I really don't know

 

If someone knows what I am on about, please could they help me.
