Term1984 Posted March 2, 2010 Share Posted March 2, 2010 Hi all, Very new to the forums and fairly new to fallout too, I've just bought The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage + Broken Steel and Point Lookout I am mid way through the game, and wondered can I install them all straight away ? are they just like add on missions with the exception of Broken Steel which only comes into play once I complete the full game anyway ? Can I install without fear of ruining my current game? or do you need to install them from a fresh new game? Also, these are retail purchased dvd expansions, will they update my version of the game to a version capable of having the expansions intalled? I am currently running the retail unpatched version of fallout 3, most likely stupid questions but would really appreciate some help, many thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They're not stupid questions at all. ;) You can install them right away, they won't affect your current game, they'll just add new quests, you'll receive radio signals involving the DLC's when you load your save game. The game won't automatically update it for you when you install, you need to update it manually.
