Nire
I went absolutely balistic when I heard they were implimenting horses into Oblivion. That said, I'm unaware of the sort of labor and extensive "scriptwriting/programming" involved. But I would be ( and I know many many others...(especially girl gamers)) Would absolutely go nutz if a Player-owned Stable was created. A Home with an outside (or inside if you're talented) area for all your horses to stay in or "spawn" in... Course I'm sure there would be technicalities...such as, while the player is traveling about the main horse being used would need to behave normally and spawn in the town stables while fast-traveling.....But the other horses that you might have purchased earlier on in the game could all huddle together in the players very own stable, vs being cast out to goodness-knows-where... I was honest when I said I'd be willing to pay for someone's time in this project, since I have no modding skills of my own. If anyone is interested...my email is here [email protected] Thanks for your time and Consideration :)

Nire
Well sure....I guess that could work... ..... Course, would that mean only the main horse spawns in the stable?.. I guess it's slightly more complicated than simply spawning next to the house, because if you ffast travel anywhere, I believe that happens already? ..Perhaps if someone built a stable next to the house and...."commanded" the horse to spawn right on a specific coordinate, I suppose that could be do-able, do you think? Again I'm not sure about all the mechanics that'd go into this sort of thing. And it would be nice to figure out how to get all of the purchased horses to hang out in that area as wellas the horse "in use". Banana12
There is a nice robust mod called CallSteed v3.0 which allows you to mark and call up to three horses. If you copied one of the Bethesda stables onto the side of your house, and then tweaked this CallSteed mod, that would probably do the sort of thing you want. Might be nice to add a 'need to eat hay' to horses (re-skin a wooden box with a grass-texture), make their saddles slowly wear out and be repairable with repair hammers, hire stablehands, and a system where you can hire them out to NPCs for the day. "Chase players with carrots and apples in their inventory" would also be interesting! Oh, and of course, one would have to keep orcs and horse thieves away. Visbontavon
This mod either A) Exists already or B) Is being worked on already, I just can't remember which it is. These days people are making mods so fast that I have trouble remembering which ones have been completed and which ones were just suggested. I'd search all the building and houses categories on tesssource and at Planet Elder Scrolls
