laser satelite strike

hi,

 

i've been thinking about a mod.

i've already seen some airstrike mods on nexus, so i know that the scripted event is possible,

but i wat i would like, is like a device that dessignates a target like an airstrike, but then a huge laser beam comes straight down from the sky, like a sattelite strike.

i don't know much about scripted events and stuff (just the basics) but i was thinking like to just use an enlarged laser projectile. would that be possible?

also it would be fun if someone has a neet quest but no reward to use this as a reward.

u know, something about the army, and u need to find the designator.

so, i don't know, think about it please.

Broken steel has such a thing within it. try looking at the scripting that sets that event off, it should point you in the right direction.

ow, i didn't know that, but stil i'm am absolutely no good with scripts.

i have broken steel but i havent played until te purifirer ending with broken steel on (i'm working on hat now)

i wil see wat i can do with your tip, but i think i won't be much wiser :rolleyes:

so if anyone else thinks this is a good idea, pls help

 

(p.s.: i've just looked trough the scripts and just thought that i didn't know the name, anyone knows how the script is called?)

that is indeed pretty much it, but only i would like it with a classic red laser beam and a remote designator of some sort, so u don't have to be so close.

but hat does look like some nice work there thought.

i've already seen the artillery gun, but that tutorial is awesome, do u have more of those?

i will defenatly try and make my own weapon now and i will learn from it, realy

jaysus, i've tried the tutorial, and it failed miserably. i've given up on that.

 

but i've downloaded the high sea caravansery,and... it's... AWESOME!

realy, nice work.

but the thing is, i find it hard to find and start the quests, i've already done a couple of quests but could u tell me please wich quest gives me the designator? and whom to talk to?

(and yes, i do have the bugfix)
