Huh? so I load up oblivion after adding some mods, none of them changing a THING about the beast races, And now the the kajjit wont talk, And the argonians wear beards and wigs! Oh, and they cant talk either. Also, a lesser problem, on some doors, the language is in german or something! Also, the Argonians seem to be replaced with german language too, i tried to make a new file, the argonian race was compleatly messed up! oddly, the kajjit had no such problem. Can someone help?

First, I'd say give us a list of what mods you've loaded, that's the place to start looking. I know some of the better cities mods have German in them, as well as Oblivion Alive, those are the only two I've used personally. Most German mods will have a 'DV' at the end of the name for Deutch Version. You can also try disabling mods and reloading them until the problem recurs.

Good Luck

It would help if we knew what mods you added. If you cannot remember then list them all.

How to post a Load order list article

Many times, using a mod in a language different from the game language version will cause NPCs - or some NPCs to stop audio when speaking. And any mod can have unexpected consequences when it conflicts with something else. Check through your mods to see if you have downloaded and installed the wrong language version of a mod.

Luckly I have a back up on my main... my others, not so lucky. I'm gonna go through them all, and find out what the problem is.

Edit:Things are worse than then they seemed... I have to go and UNDOWLOAD EVERYTHING I DOWNLOADED. craaaap....

How do you 'undownload'? Downloading is the action of getting a file from the site into your computer. Were you going to try t0 'Upload' the files back to the website? :whistling:

The best way is to have a special folder outside of the game where you place the downloaded file when you get it. Then Install the downloaded file from there into your game. Keep the original downloaded file as a zipped file in the holding folder as a backup. I think what you mean is remove the installed files from the game to bring the game back to its original unmodded state. (Vanilla)

Here is a simple way

Here is my revert to vanilla article - how to go back to the original state without reinstalling.

that is what I have, and I do believe you knew what I meant by "Undowload." I have fixed the problem, Through several uninstalations. now I'm a bit more selective in my mod picking and a bit more careful, so at least I learned something from this whole ordeal.
