The Extreme TES
I would day that it is certainly addictive. I also think it is very aptly named, since when I play it the rest of the whole world evaporates into nothingness. It causes me some problems in that regard, actually, and that's a sign of addiction. I tend to spend every available waking hour playing it sometimes, and when I dream, I dream I'm in Cyrodiil. That's probably a bad thing, but I don't care. Dreamed you're in Cyrodiil? xD. I just had one dream once i was in Clive Barkers: Undying :) And that i can cast plazma :) and that i have some skeleton heads that explode xDDDD But Cyrodiil...Nah...But i would like to dream about it :)

The post above may reflect exactly the situation you are in, so don't read unless you want to keep doing what you've been doing lately. If you do read, it will open your eyes and make you think more about it and thus ruining your fun. I'm joking here of course. Well, all I can say is that many people have experienced this, myself included, but I have to admit I stoped before I got to the dreaming part :P Anyway as a game like Oblivion gets older it only gets better in my opinion. The secret behind all this? It's community.
3rdtryguy
Even worse, my own speaking voice has been mutating into something sounding very much like that of a kahjiit's or argonian's. Really. I often catch myself taking on a strange accent and stretching my syllables out too much, and I don't even play catmen or lizardmen.Weird, eh? Maybe I need professional help. On the other hand, if anyone should ever need such voices for an upcoming mod, I'm your guy. Hmmm... maybe I should switch back to Morrowind soon... Javalin
I wouldn't say addictive, but thats just me. The game itself for me becomes boring quickly. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I found the game more enjoyable on the 360, but its slow paced and took a loooong time. I remember leaving my xbox on running into a wall for like 3 days just to raise its athletics up. I believe it takes like 86 hours running time or something :S Sneak is much easier to level. The most enjoyable thing about the PC version is the ability to do whatever you want, download any mod you like, make changes to the game etc. Thats the best thing for it, but it gets boring quickly for me :( Regards, Jav'

Certain things are...um..."triggers" that make me want to drop what I'm doing and play right then. I talk back to the folks that say hi and what not...out loud. So...er...yeah, I'M ADDICTED and by the Nines- I LIKE IT!!! But don't tell anybody, :ninja: And collecting mods...well that's another "HI my name is Netwit2008 and I'm a modaholic" story in and of itself! LOL!
