"An unhandled win32 exception occurred in Fallout3.exe"

So after a long time of not playing the game (over a year, bought it on steam shortly after it was released), I decided to start playing it again. However, when I go to "new game" and get to the loading screen, I get an error.

When trying to debug, I usually get an access violation warning.

I have tried multiple attempts at reinstalling.

I have tried disabling my second monitor.

I have tried cleaning my system using CCleaner.

I have updated my video drivers.

 

I have an AMD64 dual core processor, nvidia 8800gts, running windows xp with service pack 3.

 

 

Any clues as to what may be the problem with what I have given? Or maybe some advice on other things to try?

 

Also, how can I make CCleaner remove only fallout 3 and GFWL completely from my computer and registry?
