link178 Posted July 3, 2014 Share Posted July 3, 2014 So a few months ago I got a new graphics card, a R9 270, and I was looking forward to playing even more skyrim and usual, but every time I enter a city the screen keeps fading from black to normal to bright, then goes black again, I can hear the sounds and if I push a button it will respond after like 30 seconds, I can't play the game like this, any suggestions? DoubleExFatez Posted July 4, 2014 Share Posted July 4, 2014 I don't know, i have a crappier graphics card than you (probably) at AMD Raedeon HD 8400 i play on custom settings (like low for everything but texture detail is at medium and the fades are decent) and I get great fps in cities with these settings. That being said you tried lowering your settings? if not, then i dont think Skyrim is meant for your computer :( (BTW What are your other specs?)
