Physical Resistence bug?

Nope, it doesn't.

 

I could be wrong, but that's not 100 PER CENT. It's 100 POINTS. And my understanding is, (and this is where I could be wrong) that you have either a 0.2% or 0.5% for each point. I think it's 0.5 tho.

Anyway, at 0.2x100 you have a 20% chance of resisting it. At 0.5x100 you've got a 50% chance of resisting.

 

Now that's NOT taking into account modifiers. For instance, say.... an Ogre slam has a higher % chance to slam you than say... resisting a generic character's shield bash. Attribute ratings, combined attribute ratings, skill mastery, these are also things that can modify the percentage of success or fail, depending on which side of the coin you happen to be facing.

 

A lot of the system is misleading like this, because a lot of the mechanics run off this system of % to point. Meaning that each point gives you x amount %.

 

This is of course, assuming that patch 1.03 doesnt change this, like it did armor penetration. Don't patch, btw. Huge issues with it.
