Valenwood

Since I got Side_S sailing ship mod, i have been wondering about a mod that made valenwood into something. I got the Elsweyr mod, and I attempted to get the Valenwood Heightmap by onra but it crashed Oblivion, so i got rid of it. however, that still leaves the giant area of nothing. I can make the sail around the south coast of it, but it has a lot of artificial land, and there's nothing to look at.

 

So, basically, is there a mod, or does anyone have a plan to make a mod to make valenwood into something like Elsweyr? It's a huge area, and would be a great place for an interesting expansion mod if someone wanted to attempt to do it.

 

Also, if no one wants to do this, would there be some way to make a waterway from Anvil to Leyawin that doesn't have a bunch of artificial land? Maybe an extension of that little river that goes to the east of leyawin and cuts toward Skingrad, right north of Valenwood. something to get those ships through, i need something realistic.

The Valenwood heightmap shouldn't be crashing your game. Conflicts, maybe?

But on topic, there is the Valenwood Improved mod, just search "Valenwood Imrpoved" it adds some stuff, but its far from complete. The downside is that I read that it makes the guards speak German, but nothing terrible.

because of some family issues, I completely forgot that I ever started this thread. But I really couldn't figure out what my conflict may have been. at the time, I didn't have anything down there. I got elsweyr shortly after as a way to fix half of that giant area, but that doesn't solve the whole sailing issue.

 

But i think Valenwood would be a pretty good mod to make. It would pretty much fill in all the major parts of the maps in Cyrodil, and definitely be a good add on for the people that already have elsweyr (or however that's spelled)

 

However, I am not a modder, and I certainly wouldn't dream of making my first project something as massive as an entire new world.
