Faivon
Hi, I'm thinking of making ..or rather merging some mods together since there are a lot of mods out there. I already managed to merge Ren's Hair, 2ch hair, ren's eyes, soya hair and some other hair/eye mod but I phailed at merging race mod such as Corean. Of course, I'll not publish this mod of mine since it's..uhm, personal mod and I didn't asked the author's permission so I might as well use it myself. Well, I merge the mods manually, copying the texture and mesh files into my own mod's folder and put it together in CS but when I tried to see the race in the game, nothing there. Null. And what's worse, when I tried to click left arrow button, the game crash. I'm not sure what happened =.= And..Oh! Another thing I would like to ask, is there a file called Up
Balakirev
An easier, quicker way to merge those files would be through TES4Gecko. It does a lot of other things, of course, but for simple merges like this it functions very well.
Faivon
But does it automatically moves the mod's path destination to my mod's folder?
Jenrai
With Gecko, you install the mods as normal to your data folder, then run Gecko to check and merge the esps. It works well & does it for you. Two peices of advice; (i) Clean the mods in Gecko first. (easy as seclecting em and clicking "open" - Gecko does the rest)(ii) Make sure they are working in the game before you merge them and keep back ups of the original .esps. I've not had a problem with meging mods in Gecko as yet but ya know, just in case, better safe than sorry, and all that jazz. Jenrai
