BIG REQUEST Horse archery/use weapons on horse

I am requesting at this time in the morning for an experienced modder to collaberate together a mod addressing horse archery, and being able to use other marksman weapons whilst riding a horse.

i.e- When a wolf is attacking your horse and you're on it, I find it EXTREMELY IRRITATING THAT EVERYTIME I HAVE TO GRACFULLY GET OFF MY HORSE TO START ATTACKING THE WOLF/ANY ENEMY!

I would much rather have the convenience of shooting the wolf with my bow, or throwing my spear, or using my sword to kill it while I'm on my horse, either by staying still of galloping in another direction.

Thanks, hope you guys look into this, this has been ticking my mind since Oblivion first came out.

Unfortunately, that's all there is.

And that's as good as you're going to get. Horse combat is not something which is even remotely supported within Vanilla. The effects which that mod produces is due to use of activators to either cast spells upon button press, or activators to cast damage directly. Activators can't shoot arrows. Although you can make an activator take on the appearance of an arrow, the scripting involved with actually making that activator move along a given vector, especially if taking into account a moving source and gravity on the arrow, is not something which can easily be done and tends to be rather crappy. It would also require new animations to make it look like an arrow was being shot, which comes with its own headaches.

That said, archery from a horse using a European longbow is impossible. Even a shortbow is incredibly difficult. The only archery that works from horseback is using eastern designed compound bows and Japanese bows, both of which have a rather unique draw and aiming method that is designed to work from a standing/prone position rather than a sitting one.

Both of these factors would make the implementation of such a thing pretty much impossible in Oblivion.
