saraiseinangelo
Hi, my first post here.I was just wondering if it has been discussed before, whether it is possible to do as the topic says.Usually, if an ally or friend walks in front of my fire, they take damage. But if the PC walks in front of their fire, they don't get hit. I would like to modify this. Is there a specific script in the geck that I can change that disables friendly fire on the player character?Or does a new script have to be made (if so, i might need help on that if anyone is willing to assist please). Thanks.
GrandsonOfSam
That option is in the Combat Styles as Tickboxes, but I don't think that is why they don't shoot you, they just stop shooting when you enter their field of fire. I would try the Combat Styles though. The AI in this game acts weirdly anyway, and Combat Styles plus Game Settings are about the only way to affect the AI, except for some heavy scripting. I hope that helps :)
saraiseinangelo
Thanks, I'll try messing with the combat styles. Somewhere Bethesda must have scripted it so that the PC cannot take damage from ally or friendly AI fire, but they can from yours. It was the same with Oblivion as well where allies could not accidentally hit you with their weapons while swinging them around.
