DeadYorick
Okay I just downloaded the recent patch and I have a major problem with it. Loading my savegames, it runs fine. But when I enter character gen, as soon as I click on a specific origin. (IE: Choosing city elves) the character model disappears and I am unable to continue. Is there any solution? Ive already reinstalled the game without any DLC/mods and it still does this http://yfrog.com/1gdragonagescreenshotj
HelenD
I had the same issue. I thought before doing a clean install I would just run the install over the existing installation. That seems to have fixed it. Unlike you it is my saved games that were affected. No one can go through doors and both the good guys and bad guys just look at each other instead of fighting. Balagor
I´m not sure wether this is a issue hidden in savegames or in the install. Every times I have had any issues however I have been able to to rescue it by a clean install.BUT, you need to CLEAN the REG_KEY too, before installing. Run a CMD, search for everything that says Bioware or Dragon Age, and delete it.Now you can make a clen install. Ther´s a 90% change that this will help. DarkeWolf
http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=187957 I posted my two cents about this issue in that thread. You may have better luck with the issue on the official bioware forums.Another problem with this patch is that DLCs wont recognize the authorization to run. They give that generic "Version number" error message when you try to load them. Which is stated in the thread that I posted a link to.The address for bioware's forums is listed there too.
