spazzization
I just thought i'd post this idea, it'll probably never get made but i can't let a good idea like this go so i'll post it anyway. It came to me while getting the stuff for the staff oh Sheogorath during the SI main quest. Dyus (the guy who makes the staff) mentioned something about a great library of Order that was destroyed by the other sheogorath. Such a wealth of knowlegde should be brought back methinks. I'm not really sure how you'd go about doing this, maybe collecting books (that sheogorath didn't want destroying for some reason) from deep caves maybe... any other suggestions? Obviously there should be some kind of reward. Maybe you can learn some new spells from some magic books, while some may teach you how to make new weapons + armour (after gathering the right raw materials of course), while some might lead you to undiscovered caves that offer some nice loot. I should add that I'm about as far removed from a modder as you can get, so any progress on this mod AT ALL would be deeply appreciated. :thanks: in advance. kieranfoy
Actually, that's a brilliant, but somewhat flawed idea. The Library of Order is antithetical to Madness. Any Madgod would despise such orderly prediction of facts that the Library represents. Do not despair, though! A better idea would be helping Jyggalag to rebuild the Library in his new plane of Oblivon, presumably called Myceria.
spazzization
Hmm, i forgot about the opposition from madness + stuff, its a good job you reminded me. Thanks for the input by the way, i think helping Jyggalag would be a good idea (i do feel kinda sorry for him after he got bound to sheogorath for millenia), maybe there would be a portal to his realm somewhere in Tamriel (not in the SI, for reasons that should be obvious), where you get taken to Jyggalag when you enter and you tell him you want to help him. Not only that, but presumably helping him would restore some of his power, which would lead to some of the other princes going to war against him (again), but you stand up for him and kick the crap out of his assailants. This leads to him becoming even more powerful. I hope this mod gets made!!
Pronam
Hm, why not adding it afterwards Spoiler: As you're the prince of madness and Jyggalag is free...think could be restored.. Otherwise there could simply be a hidden section that wasn't found before...similar to what you said.
spazzization
Actually, what i meant originally was that it has to be completely rebuilt (since sheogorath destroyed it), adding some stuff that wasn't destroyed becuase the knowlegde that it held was too important to be lost. Thanks for the input, but i think kieranfoy's idea is better, because i think we could make a better mod out of helping Jyggalag rebuilt the library (amongst other things) than simply rebuilding it in the SI. 3rdtryguy
Hey, at least you got something. My thread on a related note didn't get squat:http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=187521 I'd be happy if we could at least release Dyus from his imprisonment and send him to Jyggalag.Helping Jyggalag carve out a new realm would be even cooler. Wouldn't that be neat, helping him bring order to a little slice of Oblivion?
spazzization
I guess that makes me lucky :D Besides, this went nowhere near as bad as the last idea I had... Seriously though, I will be eternally grateful to anyone who so much as thinks about making this mod.
