Crash to Desktop Errors.

That was the error number that the Event Viewer picked up. I don't know what it means. But I got it right after a crash to desktop on Fallout 3. I pasted into the search engine and I got nothing. No results whatsoever. Does anyone around know how to figure this out? I have fixed many of my crashes with various solutions I've found online, but it's astounding how many cause the CTD.

Any help would be appreciated.

Was there anything else in Event Viewer?

Faulting application fallout3.exe, version 1.7.0.3, faulting module fallout3.exe, version 1.7.0.3, fault address 0x006ab44e.

Was the entire entry that it gave me.

Was the entire entry that it gave me. Additionally, I just now had another CTD that turned up the error "c0000005" The full Event Viewer log was

"The application, C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Fallout3.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 03/11/2010 @ 12:27:39.000 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 00AAB44E (Fallout3)"

A few things;

What are your rigs specs?

do you have DLC installed? Is it legit? If not are you running on Live?

Are you using FOSE or FOMM and trying to play on Live?

Live doesn't like a lot of things and views them as problems with the game so you either get a 'can't log in' type message or it just crashes. Not sure of the error message though. Answer the above first and I may be able to help.

I have Windows XP OS, GT9500 Nvidia graphics card, dual core processor (don't remember the speed). It's a fairly new computer. Nothing is over heating, I've checked :/ I have FOSE and FOMM both installed. I have The Pitt, Brotherhood of Steel, Operation Anchorage and Point Lookout. The problems didn't come when I installed them. I have the fake live dll active.
