wildey
I haven't played FO3 for awhile since I had a problem with leaving Megaton. I could save inside Megaton and then when I left I couldn't save anywhere in the world, it would CTD. I have finally figured out it was due to a mod I created myself. While I was trying to troubleshoot my mod I clicked on a weapon and this error popped up. I closed and reloaded GECK and picked something else and same thing. I opened a different mod and picked something and same thing. It finally dawned on me to actually read the error instead of ignore it. NiControllerSequence::StoreTargets 'Characters\_Male\Locomotion\mtidle.kf'failed to find target with the following identifiers: m_pcAVObjectName Bip01 LPau m_pcCtlrType NiTransformController m_pcPropertyType (null) NiControllerSequence::StoreTargets 'Characters\_Male\Locomotion\mtidle.kf'failed to find target with the following identifiers: m_pcAVObjectName Bip01 RPau m_pcCtlrType NiTransformController m_pcPropertyType (null) I downloaded and installed a mod to modify the idle animations Fallout3 Re-Animated by Alendor and didn't backup my original mtidle.kf (Like a complete moron). Is there somewhere that I can get a copy of the original file and see if that fixes it? I don't remember ever seeing this error when I was playing FO3 regularly (before my CTD woes) and I was using Re-Animated. So I am not sure how this might have cropped up in the last two months when I have not been playing my game. ANY help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. aerialz
I'm quite sure the mod did not overwrite your original .kf files, you just need to delete the files that came with the mod, should be: ...\meshes\characters\_male , then it should work again. wildey
Aerialz: Yeah. I thought about that right after I made the post. All the necessary files are hidden in the big BSA files. So if I just delete it it will work, or should at least. Like I said it's been awhile since I fiddled with the game so I have forgotten some of the easy answers. LOL.
