KoffeFSwe
Hello, I've been playing on my new skyrim character for a few days and have been running perfecto with only 1-2 crashes because gods know what that I don't care about. Anyhow today I was doing the main storyline and just started Season unending and thought "Hey, I have never done this quest and actually already have killed Ulfric/Tullius beforehand maybe I should do that first?" So I joined up the Legion and did the Jagged Crown quest etc and was told to go to the Pale Imperial camp, so I fast traveled over to Dawnstar and headed for the camp, but when I got close to the little bandit cave between Dawnstar and the Imperial camp I instantly crashed, and though this is probably just another crash that happens only once, So I continued to load up the game and went back there only to crash again. (I did try to go from a different angle) and that did not work either, so I though that maybe those 2 quests were interfering cause I was able to go anywhere else but there. So I finished the main story and went back only to be disappointed to get another crash. I've read up about this being something to do with burial mounds which I could find nothing to back up on and was said to be fixed in an official patch. And I saw a few posts about waiting x amount of days etc, didn't work. I currently have 2 savegames currently, and I loaded up my other one and went there (This one is older and is running the same mods except for like 2 armor mods that I tried disabling already). Anyhow I went there and NO crash, worked fine and dandy which is so weird cause they both have the same mods except for 2 armor mods that are now disabled... I found no real answer on what it might be, just something about load order or something which is already same for both savefiles and it's only 1-2 days difference on the savegames. The difference also between these savefiles is that 1 completed the Civil War questline already and the other one that crashes obviously didn't, I guess I can just try doing the forward quest commands and see if that solves anything but would rather see if anyone here could help. If I have missed out on any information please do tell and I'll see what I can do. Thanks in advance for any help.
bellowman
So I finally figured out how to fix it via this forum posting: https://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/41973821068542527/?l=swedishyou have to disable the ref id for that dragon mount, Sea Shore Foothills, near the Pale Imperial camp. here are the commands: prid FDB0Edisable:)
