Ringwall Posted March 13, 2010 Share Posted March 13, 2010 I've been working on a small mod which aims to change the silly high-elf like dunmer ears of Oblivion into the bat-like Dunmer ears of Morrowind. I have a finished mesh, and have fiddled with the UV-Map so though it uses the same old texture it looks nice. However, when the game uses the custom earsdarkelf.nif I have created, they simply don't appear in game. I'm not certain why this happens, because I have edited the letifer orca mesh from SI without it being invisible when the game runs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ringwall Posted March 14, 2010 Author Share Posted March 14, 2010 I have done some research as to what is causing this problem, and I think it is these egt and egm files for the ears. It seems that conformulator program does not work for ears though. Also, I have added quite a few vertices to the mesh to give it a proper bat-wing appearance, unlike the vanilla stretched human ear.
