lmiller93 Posted April 16, 2006 Share Posted April 16, 2006 OK, so I brought a house, and brought shelves etc to go in my house, after spending plenty of time searching through countless dungeons to save the money for it all. So, how do I place all my books and stuff on all the lovely furniture I've bought. Every time I select drop from my inventory, I drop the stuff on the floor. After you drop the items on the floor, move your cursor over them and hold the 'z' key (by default). Wherever you move your mouse, the item will move too. It's horribly inefficient, and very unwieldy at first, but it's the only way to move things around right now. You're right, it is frustrating (and a lot easier if you walk rather than run while you hold "z"). Now, at least, my house is somewhat tidy.
