DAupdater not working

I'm a noob to modding games, so I'm sorry if I'm missing something really obvious, but I can't seem to get the daupdater to work. I downloaded the Nightmare + mod from here, opened it with daupdater, and this came up on screen.

There appears to be nothing to select, and no way to install the mod. Help please!

Only thing that I can think of is that you've got a bad install.

tho you might try right clicking on the daupdater.exe file and choosing run as administrator, and see if that helps.

 Nope, no luck. Will I have to uninstall it to get it to work, and if so will I lose all my saved games and DLC?

Thanks for all your help so far, btw.

dont think so on the savegames, but I would back them up, just in case. the dlc you'll have to re-download.

savegames are in Documents/bioware/dragon age/characters/

tho you might wanna check this out first. I think it has the oldest method listed, which would probly work. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/articles/article.php?id=19

This comes up when I click uninstall. When I uninstalled Jade Empire, I recall there being an option to keep saved games, so I dont know what to do here.I have the save games backed up, so if I lose them do I just drag and drop them into the characters folder?

Sorry for asking what is probably a dumb question, but I just want to be ABSOLUTELY sure I don't lose my saved games.

No worries, of course you want to make sure your savegames are secure

If by some slim chance it does indeed remove your saved games during the install, yes, you can just drag and drop them back into the character folder. I wouldnt however recommend doing them all at once. Some of those files are a tad large, and you dont want to deal with data corruption. I'd say no more than 4 of them at a time.

Uninstalled it, reinstalled it, saved games are OK, but daupdater has the same problem. This is the image of what shows when I hit the other tab. The other tab is the same as the first pic in the thread.

I assume there must just be something wrong with my game :(

Thanks for trying to help anyway.

null reference exception. Ugh, I've seen that one before, somebody else had an issue with that. Its not finding a file that it's looking for. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to track down the file in question. You might post over at http://social.bioware.com to see if anybody over there knows how to fix this. Thats the official bioware forums, and they seem to be more up to date on some of the fixes and issues than we are over here. http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/category/58/index

I definitely wish you luck, and I'm really sorry that I couldnt get this fixed for you.
