all thane quests SEVERELY broken, bugged. help wanted.

So one of the first things I thought I would do once I got to level 20 was go through skyrim, and buy all the houses. I was able to buy Whiterun's home, and Solitude's home with no issues, but then things started getting wonkey and broken. I managed to buy vlindrel hall in Markarth, but only with console commands, as no matter how many favours I did, the option to buy the house wouldn't appear. Next came honeyside in Riften, which had the same problem as Vlindrel hall, and the same resolution. Luckily the housecarl there came with the house, so Honeyside was completey taken care of. I then however went back to Markarth to get thaneship there, and the housecarl. At this point I find out that things are irreversibly borked. the jarl and his steward are stuck with the same old dialogue options, and despite having done tons of favours for the people of the reach (including at least 5 bounties) I have no option to become thane, and the command "sqs favor250" says stage 0 and 200 are both 1, the rest 0. "resetquest favor250" technically resets all the values from sqs to 0, but no new dialogues open up. The setstage commands don't do a damn thing. I think either setting the stage to 0 or 200 worked, in the sense that it set the stage in sqs, but it didn't do anything to help my predicament. In the end I just spawned the housecarl into the house manually without the quest putting him there like it should have. Now, after installing all the dlc expansion packs, I went to the jarl of Falkreath to get thaneship and a house plot (the courrier that was supposed to give me a letter telling me thaneship there was available never came), and he gave me the initial quest to get him black briar mead, but sure enough, after delivering it, no new dialogue options have become available, and sqs says stages 0 and 200 are 1; the same deal as with Markarth.

 

It might be worth noting that around the time that things started breaking, I messed about in the console a tiny bit, but all I really did was seemingly harmless things like turning the assorted residents of riften into khajiits and argonians; nothing that could forseeably break anything to do with quests. In addition, all other quests seem to work just fine. I've done quite a few in between my house shopping misadventures, so it seems only the thaneship quests are broken.

 

I've sunk a good 100 hours into this game and file over the last 5 or 6 days, and having to trudge through all of that again would be pretty arduous, and I'd risk becoming corrupt with power if I were to use of commands to get back to where I was on a new character, so in short: wat do? pls hlp
