CTD after the bar is done loading.

I CTD after the progress bar is done loading. I thought i might be a courpt game save, so i tried to laod an other saved game. CTD when Bar is done. So i think ok maybe should delete all the saved games, so i do (select all + del). Still, CTD when bar is done. So, i set the graphix card (Nvid 7600) to the most basic of settings. Nothing. I then roll back the driver (just installed 3 days eairlier.) Nothing. I then uncheck all mods i have only leaving oblivon ESM as only active file. Nothing. (Other games work fine, such as Counter Strike Source). :wallbash:

The one thing that did happen before this was a black screen in the middle of combat, I could still use all the F1-F4 key just fine. I could only see a black screen, sound was still there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try renaming or deleting the oblivion.ini file (...\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini)

 

Oblivion will then redetect hardware. It will also, probably, not recognize your video card and set everything to medium. Just change the settings according to what you think your card will support (You can always change them later)
