humannature66
hi all,i have altered an existing armor´s mesh a little bit, with BLENDER (nice programm, btw), but when i export it as nif again, i get wrong texture: sometimes toned face and hands, but white skin (incl. the tattoos, so the right tex is picked!), or i get her correct skin on my babe and ON THE ARMOR too ! ... looks bit silly :)i´m pretty sure it´s my fault, so maybe could anyone with knowledge about BLENDER help me?btw. i´m using validation.exe, so thatz not my problem; greeetz freddo

Nimboss
Hi, Odd that none has answered you before? well here's my try.. Last time (close to a year ago) I experimented with NIF export you could only choose cloth or skin not both, so most tutorials have a chapter on how to use NifSkope to make a complete NIF from a body NIF and the new cloth NIF. How you describe it it seem that this is the problem. RL takes much of my time and the time I do spend on FO3 is on the Worldspace and LOD creation for the moment so I don't have much more to hint you with. Quetzlsacatanango
You probably don't have to do all that.Open your nif in nifskope, find the skin nitristrip/shape.Highlight BSShaderPPLightingPropertyIn block details, find the shader type line. Is it set to Shader_Default? Change it to Shader_Skin.In the Shader Flags line, also make sure SF_WINDOW_ENVIRONMENT_MAPPING is selected. There are others that need to be ticked as well but I find this is the one that is usually not. If you are a kudos giving kind of guy, give it to Yossarian who pointed this out to me a while back.
