A couple of Mod Issues

Hey all,

 

Been trying to set up an "optimum" game experience persay, and im trying to install Exnems' Eye Candy female bodies, that works.

 

New starting position, that works.

 

Enviorment mod, that worked.

 

But something I never got before when I played the game is why the skins for the female and male bodies are always two toned, one side is say, a fleshy pink, the other a much more tanned flesh colour, easily noticable by the divisionary "spine" line inbetween the textures, I am very fustraited by it, I know its not meant to happen, but I installed them without too much hastle (OMOD)..

 

Other than that, everything would work! Or theoratically work.

Unfortunately matey, the original Oblivion body files weren't made with the extent of modding they have taken in mind. There are a lot (and I mean a LOT, especially if you count all the variations of the main ones) of replacers and mods and new races out there.

 

Your best bet would likely be to try out a seam reducer... I do have one by Luchaire which seems to work nice for me, but it doesn't appear to be up on the file servers no more... :O (just looked) and would only be of real use to you if you can use hi-rez replacement body textures. (don't try that on a weak system. Pretty much kill your FPS completely)

So the different coloured skin is something EVERYONE gets? I mean everyone?
