Slow and buggy object rendering + lag spikes

  1. I updated my SKSE to 1.7.1
  2. ENB? Like RealVision ENB? I thought this only makes your game more performance hungry? It maybe helps with visual effect but are you sure this is going to help for lag spikes?

 

You still need to create a skse.ini in your Data/SKSE directory and input the following lines into it:

 

 

[General]
ClearInvalidRegistrations=1

[Memory]
DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768
ScrapHeapSizeMB=256

 

As for ENB, it does a lot more than supply visuals; it greatly improves stability by changing the way the game handles memory. Among the many lines I listed before UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true guarantees that the impact-causing shaders are disabled, leaving only the memory managing features.

 

Also what that other guy said, if you want to play with your ugrids you're gonna need StableUgridstoload. But if it's still at its default values I wouldn't touch it.

 

You know, you might just want to try a clean, new save with all those script based mods (Wet & Cold, When Vampires Attack, etc) disabled and see if things improve. It just might be too many gathering up.
