niccolo
Yeah, so. Apparently my game has taken to being Cinderella. As soon as the internal clock ticks past midnight, the game crashes. Doesn't matter how I get there... sleeping, waiting, neck-deep in a castle plundering... it's happened on two different savegames now and it's always around day 19 for some weird reason. Jenrai
Yeah, I have actually... it was a mod conflict that caused it, though I'll be damned if I can remember which ones. Hmmm... I'll research.Meantimes, run BOSS (with the newest masterlist) to rebuild that load order as something looks wrong - especially judging by the number of mods beneath your Bashed Patch. If Boss doesn't know them, general rule of thumb is to put em right under stuff that alter the same areas/add similar things/do similar jobs, and then rebuild your Bashed Patch, see if that helps. niccolo
Yeah... so. Does anyone else have any ideas? It's really getting frustrating.
Sealwarrior
Arg... I know what this is like. A few months ago, I had the same problem. Hmm.... I see you have neither the Unofficial Patches for Oblivion or SI.... You could try installing them, though I am unsure if they will actually do anything. They resolve a multitude of issues for both, so it is well worth the download. Since you are using Wrye Bash, I can assume that it is neither a bloating problem and/or an A-bomb problem, but you might want to reset the A-bomb counter and remove the bloat from your save games. If none of those work, you will have to do what I did..... That is, make a copy of your savegames folder (as a backup) and disable all of your mods. If it should work fine after that, then you now know it is a mod conflict. Save a seperate file post mod removal and then start loading each mod one at a time (it's a pain, I know :wallbash: ) before the time of the conflict and see if you can still play. The trick is that it may not be just one mod.... I found that out the hard way. So...: Try installing the Unofficial Patches for Oblivion and SITry removing A-bomb and/or Save Game BloatDo the annoying procedure I described (sorry in advance if it comes to that) I can feel your pain, as I was there not too long ago. I however, ended up doing the annoying trail and error method. It was excrutiatingly slow, but it worked. I am sorry that I cannot provide any exact mod conflict (or conflicts). There are actual conflict detectors you can use (the one for OBMM is an example,) but I am not well versed in how they work.
niccolo
Thank you Seal.. you still gave me a tip. I'mma gonna go try the anti-bloating thing and anti-A-bomb thing now. Cheers. Edit: I found the problem. It was Goddamned "Elder Council". Lots of people have had the same thing. Worst thing is... damn thing doesn't show any conflicts - just like everyone else.
