Zuperbuu
I browsed the forums a fair bit, and didn't see much about Shivering Isles. I felt it was time we amused ourselves and Sheogorath by sharing Shivering Isles stories, or mods that make SI even more crazy! I personally spend more time in SI than I do in Cyrodill, for the obvious reasons that it's fun to mess with the Mad God. So share your stories of madness, your favourite mods for SI and your favourite moment in it! To get things kicked off, I recently decided to mess around with a 'Sheogorath Powers Expanded' mod, it basicly gives you more powers right away (I finished SI Main Quest so many times now I just use the powers right away) that are mainly prank-based, only one will kill (sends people to the 'execution drop'). I decided to use the Whim power on Sheogorath and myself, which sends us both to a random place in either SI or Cyrodill. We wound up in The Fringe and Sheogorath took the gate to Dementia on his long walk back to New Sheoth. I followed him all the way back, and on the way he single-handedly killed 3 Grummites with just his fists and took one of their daggers and then ran off and slaughtered a bunch of Heratics that where nearby! Truely demented, I say! But things got better, as he walked around with his dagger merged with his staff (looked like a spear) we bumped into 2 Golden Saints who then attacked Sheogorath. He killed them with just the dagger, sheathed his Cane and started walking as if he had the cane but it was just a dagger in his hand! We encountered some more Golden Saints when Sheogorath decided he didn't want to walk in Dementia anymore, and moved over to Mania. He killed them all but broke his dagger in the process, and picked up a Golden Saint Sword and walked around acting like it was a cane. Truely hilarious when he draws his Cane and starts smacking people with it merged to a sword. I waited for him to enter Bliss but the game crashed when he did. But I found this process fairly easy to repeat, so long as Sheogorath and myself end up in The Fringe with the Whim Power. Once, Sheogorath and myself wound up spawning in The Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary and he got knocked unconcious constantly until I used Whim on him again. Also, don't try hitting Sheogorath as a Curse of Hircine Werewolf, the outcome is not pretty...Werewolf Sheogorath is...rabid. LOL. Also, anyone else notice that a LOT of the population in New Sheoth...are Bosmer? And that Glarthir, a paranoid guy who should be in Shivering Isles because of it, is also a Bosmer? Are Beth trying to say Bosmer are all mad? (I think they're awesome, but then again, I'm a bit mad myself. lol)
David Brasher
The last character I played in the Shivering Isles was a cleptomaniac and procrastinator. Sheogorath would give him a quest, and he might never get around to doing it. He kept trying to pickpocket the Dark Seducers and Golden Saints. He would then resist arrest until all the guards in town were chasing him and the civilians were fleeing in terror. Then he would meekly surrender and go to jail. He would then break out, walk back to New Sheoth, sell all his loot, and then try to pickpocket a guard again. He was not a very sane character. This is a great list of Shivering Isles mods: SD's SI Mod Link EDIT: Fixed the link.
