Same Problem here, cant think of anything because I moded alot before getting my first horse... The only thing we share is Flora overhaul, UFO and Serena... But Serena is riding her Horse correctly...

CBBE cant be it because the problem occured the same before installing CBBE.

I fixed my problem with this; download Standalone horserider animation ,its will be change ur character animation,i hope its work for u to.

Sadly, installing that mods made my Skyrim to crash. I think there are compatibility issues... I deactivatet the Add ons and still my game crashes. xD Do'h
