Awakening - Lacks Continuity

One thing that puzzles me about the epilogue is... if you side with the Architect and there are no more blights and the darkspawn disappear, what's going to happen to these wardens with the taint, going to the Deep Roads to go out in a blaze of glory isn't going to be an option is it.

Chances are even if the architect was to help the Darkspawn, at least one would go the same way as the mother at some point. The ending does say the deep roads go quieter then days before, but not entirely. There must be other Darkspawn in the world.

I agree. Plus, signs point towards the sequel being in Orlais (tho I thought the same about the expansion  ) we have no idea what's going on over there, other than they have troubles of their own. So yeah, there could still be a big DS threat across the border.

Plus a certain witch of the wilds has been spotted in Orlesian courts, right?

Depends on the ending. If the warden dies, yes she was. If s/he lived, then she was spotted in the frostback mountains. Which... is one route to Orlais

I hope the people at EA games will show some sense, and not let that moneybug up their bonnet kill the DAO franchise.

Lets all get one thing straight, BW is not known for their continuity of games. NWN is an example of this and ME2 has limit reference from ME. If 1.04 comes out soon (which is in their mid-final run thought for PC, more for consoles) then it might address these issues such as the lost letter from romances (no letters from Alistair or Morrigan although I must say that Morrigan wouldn't send letter anyway so that in a way is a continuity of her behavior) and other bugs. Awakening feels more like the bun with no filling, BW needs to add the filling in order to be fully appreciated.

We live in a consumerist society and companies are just trying to get buck for their money. EA may be evil but it was necessary for BW, and it is all the shareholders care about. Management needs a massive overhaul, lower DLC prices and this new RDM from Ubisoft (Damn you Ubisoft) which EA is considering must be eliminated  in order for greater profits in PC. ME and DA franchise are all meant for PC not console but the only reason that it is in console is because they are trying to cash in the Sony/Microsoft wave (never liked consoles) and plus it is too much coding considering that PS3 & Xbox-360 are different systems and the royalties they have to pay to respected participants.
