If you still have the mods you had installed then uninstalled? please try to reinstall them back into place and order you had.

why do this? because the records might be stashed some where and the boss log as well as the games configurations might be getting data feed else where.

To understand where I am coming from, data for the games is stored in catches, steam catches for one and if you uninstalled a mods or set of mods and did not refresh that catch? then steam will not allow the game to run because there is a problem.

Or, just refresh the steams catch to make sure all data is properly cataloged. Remember how Games for windows live acts? there is a tool used to remove Live from fallout3 game called the GFWL remover, it finds and moves hidden data stashed else where and even moves back the backup hidden copies of the DLC's steams does something similar too only you need to use steams program to control it or fix it.

what you posted here is quite common.

ok cool i did that and i found out the AWOP and the IWS mods were the problem so i unticked them and it works great so now i have 67 up and going good

Good, so you go and have fun Ok? Keep cool and concentrate and study these things, think them out. there will always be some one that might be able to jostle the brain cells just enough to kick-start the game.

possible archive invalidated or a mesh file got depleted "Momod" there are alternatives to that one. at least there is on Fo3 version mods. very well done, he or she overwrites Momods data with better tenures and mesh files, better alignments too. Sorry can't recall the name but a mutant is a mutant, no matter which way you kill it........LOL.

data directory for the pipboy thing, I'll check my data base book here and see if I can locate all data needed for that games structure. Also, if you can't fix it, search on team for that fix, this too is common place. PDA undues have fixes listed here on the nexus for users that used the PDA replaces, when and if a user got tired of the xml / mesh replaces and wanted the original back, they found out just how hard it was to get it to work again. one item you don't mess with is the pipboy.

Me, I'm a girl, I like the hollo see through pip's they are cool and have choices of colors too. Lavender is my favorite.

well, the character can be either, but I am a woman, a mother ,and a tyrant when they are bad.......LOL. no, in your games data folder, you should find bsa archives. a tool will be required to extract these materials, but I digress for a bit here. I need to know what you have as far as a game set up knowledge of use? that kind of thing, I can talk all day long and not make any sense to any one if they do not understand what I am referring too, sooooo I need to know how much you know.

the tool of choice is Fomm. with that you can pick and choose 1 or more files at your discretion, any other tools available will be over kill and way too wasteful for this purpose.

1 file found in the fomm's bsa archive browsing tool will allow it to create the correct directory structure when you select "extract", basic you need to high light the item so only it is extracted ...other wise you will end up extracting all of the mesh files and they are considerable.

so if you get that, then the above data can be entered into the bsa search box at the bottom of the bsa browser window when it is opened up.

if you require a picture format showing this, I can arrange that too. a lot of people have no clues as to what to do. I keep an open mind about that, but I also keep this in mind.

this is a game modding web site, those that can and know how to mod games come here and have a basic understanding of the tools required TO mod the games, that being said, it is a given that they have the needed tools on hand.

Unfortunately for me, I found this not always the case and I get my head handed to me ..LOL. oh well, I can only try.

there may be also an xml file too, off hand I have the unreal engine loaded here so I need the ram, but I can charge up my laptop and look in it, it will be a while for that old thing to come online.

what i provided so far should get you where you need to go?
