Zephyr2011 Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 The notion that well change currency purely because of a lack of trees for the paper money is to me preposterous it is after all primarily cotton (i dont know the precise components or the break down of these components) im not even sure there IS any "paper" in the conventional sense of the word in papermoney. Paper when wet disintigrates or is severely weakened integrily afterwards yet dollar bills experience neither of these effects even to a slight degree after encountering moisture.
