OutLaw666
After reading in the latest news post about "Two-Factor Auth", i thought maybe i should change my e-mail adress which is bound to my nexus account. Before i started doing so i tried to login to my old hotmail account. And then the big shock: i can not gain access to this hotmail account any more. I have not lost my password it's worse than that. When i try to login it tells me that the email address is already used by someone else. Losing this email address is not a big deal since i have never used it for any RL stuff. The only serious thing i did using this address was creating my Nexus profile and I don't want to risk losing access to my nexus profile. Is it still possible to change the email address without verifying the change over the old one (to which i have no access anymore)? Before getting things on the Nexus all scrambled, you might want to work with MS to recover your hacked hotmail account.
OutLaw666
Not possible. I already tried that.I created this hotmail account years ago when ms let you create accounts without backup funktions (without second email or phone number) like they handle such things now. I don't have any option to recover this account. That email account is lost, there is no way around it. -my question is still not answered. Is my old email address needed to verify the change or just the new one which i specifie? It would be very kind if you could help me. OutLaw666
Ok forget that, i just changed my nexus email to a new one. It took me less than ten seconds and everything seems to work without issues. Thanks, and sorry for troubling you.
