WastelandAssassin
Hi there folks so i've been playing Skyrim since it was released, and i've played it quite a few times with many charactersdue to a lack of new interesting games to play, i was thinking of having one more go at Skyrim, at least until large overhauls are released (like Enderal) seeing as i've not been present in the Skyrim modding scene for quite some time, i wanted to get some suggestions of good mods to put in the game for this playthrough I want a new experience, so any and all suggestions are acceptable, including gameplay overhauls (like SkyRe, Requiem etc)any good quest mods are also really interesting to me, so these suggestions are more than welcome as for items and such, i wanted to make the game feel more like Vikings, so any good mods that either add items or change items to look more realistic and appropriate are more than welcomeon armor mods, i don't have a problem with rather skimpy armors, though i would rather them being more realistic, however if you know of any mod with armors that have better cleavages and less revealing skirts (more revealing tops, less skimpy bottoms), i would love to see these suggestions all in all, i want to hear which mods make your game feel worth playing, and also if they have problem with other mods you were forced not to usei eagerly wait to hear your suggestions thanks in advance and have a wonderful timeWA
LordAndSavior
Quests and Lands:-ThirteenOranges's quest mods are great (check the Workshop since the author's b& from this site). They'll keep you playing for hours despite some bugs.-Anything by Trainwiz should be fun.-Falskaar's a love-or-hate thing, some have said it's fun; while others (myself included) found it to be featureless and its writing generic despite it being large and having a lot of effort put into it.-Moonpath to Elsweyr, despite being short and unfinished; is actually one I recommend.-Skyrim Sewers 4. What better way to play without sewers? None. Combat:-Duel - Combat Realism is nice.-I really recommend SkyDie - Prepare To Cry Edition, it removes fast travel and auto-health regeneration while adding new immersive features that make the game more fun to play while being hard; it's Dark Souls-like. Weapons:-Lore Weapon Expansion's great, I think it's better than Immersive Weapons. Armor:-Immersive Armors adds tons of great armor but it's 2GB so if you have a small hard drive; probably avoid that one.-Male Cleric Armor is great if you want slutty armor, it's male only; which makes it even better. Companions:-Avoid the female companion mods, most of them feature bad writing and hilariously bad dialogue. If you want a laugh though; feel free.-That out of the way; I really like Brhuce Hammar - Legacy (contains f-bombs) and Inigo, they're worthwhile companions and deserve a look. Vanilla Game Changes:-Practical Female Armors is a mod you should check out if you really think that the female armors in Vanilla Skyrim are lame, it gets rid of the cleavage and boobplates in the majority of female armors. It even works great with CBBE. Immersion:-As I said before, SkyDie.-Helmet Toggle, that is all.-Radiance adds more to Skyrim, new encounters and such.-Run For Your Lives and When Vampires Attack, this fixes everything.-No Radial Blur, removes that god-awful radial blur that AAA developers seem to think is wonderful.-No More Glowing Edges mod. Yep.-RaceMenu, you should get this anyway.-Point The Way. You'll want it.-Seasons of Skyrim Project. It allows you to either remove the snow or turn all of Skyrim into a winter wonderland. Misc:-Familiar Faces, allows your characters to interact with each other.-Pretty Face. A great face mod you should use, it's better than most face mods out there. WastelandAssassin
thanks for the answer LordAndSavior i will check the mods out, especially the quest mods, i've never played any of them, it seems (installed Moonpath, but never started it) what about perk mods or gameplay overhauls, aside from SkyDie?? also, does it really play good with SkyDie? because i love Dark Souls, but i can't imagine it played with Skyrim's combat....... the only thing i wanted the opposite of is Practical Female Armors. i like the more feminine features on armors, and i don't mind a bit of sultriness, just believe that more revealing tops and less revealing bottoms make more sense still, thanks for all the suggestion, i will check them out

Instead; I'd recommend SPERG, which I haven't installed but I heard that it has good compatibility with tons of other mods. I don't mind a bit either, after all; I did have Scarlet Dawn Armor and Shanoa Armor installed because well, both are cool. Wouldn't really wear them into combat in real life though. You're welcome. MethosTR
I personally recommend Requiem/SkyRE and Frostfall. Frostfall on its hardcore preset disables fast travel, and Requiem should disable health regeneration. Makes the game very challenging too, more so than SkyDie. If you don't want complete overhauls like the above, SPERG is a good choice.
