(Please read all I know its long.)Inspired by my recent topic related to this one, I just want to ask how this episode will go? WARNING SPOILIER ALERT, IF YOU HAVN"T BEAT THE GAME OR IT'S EPISODES GO NO FURTHER! Well you can't be too careful. Anyway we've been through alot in the Half-life series. The combine take Earth, Gordon comes back, kills Breen, destroys the Cidital in an unexpected way, escapes the city alive, shuts down the super portal, and witnesses Alex becoming an orphan. So what next? This is how I see it. Perhaps it will rewind Alex's Dad's death, then Gordon blacks out. Gordon rewakes moments later to find the advisers returning with a fleet of Combine invading the complex. Madison yells alert as Alex coaxs you on the Helicopter. As they take off, one of the advisors pull it down, but fails as DOG once again saves the day. The two fly off as Dog is left behind to fight the combine, perhaps an explosion will occur to allow us to ponder his fate. Alex talks to Gordon about the recent events. She focuses on the mission to find Mossman as the screen grows dark and the title comes on. Once it disipates, most likely Gman will make another appearence, or the game will say "Days later" or something. Gordon wakes up from a dream to find that they are North, nearing the Borealis. It is here where Alex and Gordon will be seperated somehow, or they will lose the helicopter and will have to continue on North while in an unknown city/countryside/town. After going through issues of many things, they arrive at the Borealis. There they could find the Combine, or perhaps even GLADOS from Portal (since both games share the same universes.) who has managed to get on it somehow. There they find Mossman, some amazing technology, and manage to foil the Combine's plans. Here Gordon might have the choice to destroy it or use it in the war against the Combine. Alex and Mossman could possibly die, or a choice system that may enter the game could be installed that determines the ending according to Gordon's choices. Any of them could die, or the wars fate could be determined here. If this is true then Valve will choose the ending that Gordon chose (As if he had a mind of his own) to match HLF 3's story. Those are my thoughts. Your turn.
