New Creature model troubles 3dsmax export

Hello, I've been working on new creature model in 3dsmax. I love the way it looks, but can't seem to export it (via .Nif) I get an ERROR, must select 1 bone node. I've got no idea how to get past this problem. I used Grohiik's Youtube tutorial to create the model with Vinc's scorpion as a base. Any ideas would help I'm Stuck.

 

Thought I post a picture of the model see if anyone has any ideas on custom skeletons and rigging, Still new to this stuff,

PS: This is based off the Skorpikis from Everquest/EQ2 plan on using it in a mod inspired from some old Kunark zones

Then you'll have to start using the weight painting tool and rig the model to the skeleton. Either that or use the Skin Wrap modifier and copy over the rigging from another model.
