zidove
The game crashes every 5 minutes at random occasions. It started happening recently and I do think its the cause of a mod conflicting with another mod. I have used LOOT to sort my load-order.01 DeadMoney.esm02 HonestHearts.esm03 OldWorldBlues.esm04 LonesomeRoad.esm05 GunRunnersArsenal.esm06 CaravanPack.esm07 ClassicPack.esm08 MercenaryPack.esm09 TribalPack.esm0A YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm0B Interior Lighting Overhaul - Core.esm [Version 6.6]0C SomeguySeries.esm0D WARZONES - Misanthropy Pure.esm0E oHUD.esm0F ELECTRO-CITY - CompletedWorkorders.esm10 AWorldOfPain(Preview).esm11 More Traits.esm [Version 1.0.0]12 Project Nevada - Core.esm13 Project Nevada - Equipment.esm14 SpeedE Wheels Travel Systems.esm [Version 1.07]15 More Perks.esm16 More Perks for Dead Money.esm [Version 1.0.0]17 ELECTRO-CITY - Highways and Byways.esm18 NevadaSkies.esm19 More Perks for Honest Hearts.esm [Version 1.0.0]1A More Perks for Old World Blues.esm1B More Perks for Companions.esm [Version 1.0.0]1C NVWillow.esp1D Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp1E Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp1F FalloutNV_lang.esp20 YUP - NPC Fixes (Base Game + All DLC).esp21 Wild Wasteland Integration.esp22 The Mod Configuration Menu.esp [Version 1.5]23 DarNifiedUINV.esp24 More Perks for Old World Blues Update.esp25 XFO - 9a - Enemies - AI revamp.esp26 The Weapon Mod Menu.esp [Version 1.2]27 Mission Mojave - Ultimate Edition.esp [Version 10]28 EVE FNV - ALL DLC.esp29 AWOPLowLootGeneral.esp2A More Perks Update.esp2B FlashlightNVSE.esp2C JIP Companions Command & Control.esp2D Modified Combat Values v2.esp2E More Perks for Dead Money Update.esp2F More Perks for Companions Update.esp30 PerkEveryLevel.esp31 Project Nevada - Honest Hearts.esp32 Readius_NV.esp33 CASM.esp34 NewVegasBounties.esp35 NewVegasBountiesII.esp36 WeaponModsExpanded.esp37 Project Nevada - Gun Runners' Arsenal.esp38 PMT - Destructible Ordnance.esp [Version 1.02]39 RWD-NV v1.4 [standard Version].esp3A TheInheritance.esp3B Russell.esp3C MMUE-CP-ILO.esp3D More Traits Update.esp3E More Perks for Honest Hearts Update.esp3F WMX-ArenovalisTextures.esp40 WMX-DLCMerged.esp41 ILO - A World of Pain.esp [Version 1.2]42 AWOPLowLootMWeaponsArmor.esp43 AWOPDeadMoney.esp44 AWOP Interior Music.esp45 AWOPLowLootMWeapons.esp46 AWOPLowLootSkillBooks.esp47 AWOPDeadMoneyVendorPatch.esp48 AWOP DLC + GRA Conflict Error Fixes.esp49 AWOPLowRobots.esp4A AWOP-LowNPCS.esp4B Project Nevada - Old World Blues.esp4C Interior Lighting Overhaul - Ultimate Edition.esp [Version 6.6]4D MMUE-CP-WMX.esp4E MMUE-CP-AWOP.esp4F MMUE-CP-PNEquipment.esp50 Project Nevada - Lonesome Road.esp51 MMUE-CP-PNRebalance.esp52 Project Nevada - Dead Money.esp53 Project Nevada - WMX.esp54 WMX-AWOP-Overhaul.esp55 Project Nevada - EVE All DLC.esp56 WMX-EVE-AllDLCMerged.esp57 MMUE-CP-EVE.esp58 WMX-POPMerged.esp59 MMUE POP.esp5A MMUE-CP-Electrocity.esp5B MMUE-CP-PNCore.esp5C NevadaSkies - Ultimate DLC Edition.esp5D NevadaSkies - Darker Nights.esp5E Merged Patch.esp Help would be much appriciated, I do not run 4GB NV, I have anti-crash and stutter-remover installed thou. CaptainPatch
Notice that you have the .esm files at the top = master files. The .esp files are subordinate to the .esm files; i.e., they require certain .esm files to be present and active, or else you get a CTD. Left-click on each .esp file in the list, starting at the bottom. In the right panel will appear a list of which specific .esm files need to be present for that .esp to work properly. If an .esp shows an .esm that is NOT installed, uncheck theat .esp's box. I think odds favor that you have at least one >esp that is missing its corresponding .esm file. On a side note, if you start the game and then immediately Quit, do you get a CTD or freeze as you are exitting? I was checking if there were any .esm missing earlier but I will do that again, I know there are some .esps that arent active but are present in the data folder that do have missing .esms. But I will check anyhow if there is anything that might have slipped under my radar. On your side note, how do you mean by quitting immediatley? Do you mean quitting when I have loaded a save or do you mean to quit when the intros before the main menu appear?
CaptainPatch
Quit before Loading any Saved game. Basically, usually if the game can make it to the Main Menu (Continue all the way down to Quit), the mod mix is mostly okay. But then I discovered that some mods cause CTDs after having Quit the game. Just to be on the safe side I turn those off as well. This method WILL reduce in-game problems, but not entirely. Some mod combinations are like landmines waiting to be stepped on. Like having two mods use the exact same map coordinates, each for their own purposes. Have your character step on those coordinates and you get a CTD.

I actually resolved the problem by doing a) re-ordering my mod load-order to a more optimal order to reduce any errors b) I noticed that the game stopped crashing with "stopped working" after the re-worked load-order but was replaced with a "out of memory" error like every 10 minutes, so I downloaded the 4GB NV and now it smooths as butter! Hopefully it will remain stable as long as possible eventhou I re-arranged the load-order mid playthrough. Thanks for you the help, every insight of modding is very appriciated! (btw how do you I give kudos to you?)
CaptainPatch
How did you determine the order in which files should load? And what is the manner in which to move a given file from #X to #Y? My mod mix could probably benefit from doing something like that.

My mod mix could probably benefit from doing something like that.I use Nexus Mod Manager so you just drag and drop it in the load-order where you want it to be. I used this http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1008993-my-mod-talk-a-lot-of-fun-to-read/ thread as a reference for my load-order because I had a lot of mods which he also had and just followed his frame (in the end of his post),
CaptainPatch
Ah. I also use NMM, but I have been avoiding mods that must be "Download Manually". [My Windows Directory looks like spaghetti, the way related things are scattered all over the place. I really miss XP's simple and easy to understand Windows Explorer. So much more easy to track things down, compared to Win 7's "intuitive Directory Library system.] Thanks for that link! It has been quite... educational. CaptainPatch
New info, probably related: I've noticed that I get game freezes often when changing location maps (fast travel or going through a portal to a different map). HOWEVER, if I am presently in an off-World map mod (and probably the off-map DLCs, remains to be seen), I don't have _any_ freezes. The frequent freezing resumes once I return to the primary FNV World map.
