What to do when OMM detects a Mod conflict?

I love Oblivion on PC. Every complaint I ever had with console version can be fixed by judicious application of mod, and I love it. What I don't love, however, is the hourly crashes, usually during loading screens. I've been told this is due to mod conflicts, so I used the conflict detector with OMM and found... a lot of conflicts. This irks me especially since I don't use obscure, mysterious mods from the depths of the internet, all of them are from top 50 most endorsed files of all time from Oblivion Nexus (apart from 1, which is just a mod I made with the Construction Kit to make a set of Blade's Armor tweaked to bring it up to Daedric in terms of defense and health).

So my question is simple: when I detect a conflict (and I found over 2 dozens with my current mods), how to I fix it?

Here's my list of mods, load ordered using BOSS and installed with either NMM or OMM:

Doesn't show it for some reason but I also use Darnified UI.
Anyone have any advice? I really want to play Oblivion, but the hourly crashes really get on my nerves.

Your list of plugins and masterfiles (aka load order) doesn't show Darnified, as it contains neither a plugin nor a masterfile.

Just like all pure replacer type mods won't ever show up in there. A pure replacer only changes files, not game records.

That said, the "file" conflicts OBMM detects shouldn't be paid too much attention to, really. A file conflict is just that, one mod replaces files of another, and especially mesh and texture replacers will always throw up multiple "conflicts" in this regard, while every single one is intentional and the exact doing of the mod in question. QTP for example isn't in conflict with the game, it just replaces almost all its texture files with better ones. Yet still the conflict detector will go crazy about it, as it'll be in conflict with just about every other replacer touching one or more of the same files afterwards, or maybe even the game itself, if it throws conflicts with Vanilla game files as well.

For what it's worth, "file" conflicts are almost 'never' able to cause CTDs or make your game unstable. Game records conflicts 'could' be, as in plugins or masterfiles applying different changes to the same records their other contents may depend on, and when the changes from the other plugins or masterfiles prevailed the absence of their's could result in issues. But game records conflicts won't ever be detected by the conflict detectors of those managers to begin with.

As for the actual reasons for your stability issues and CTDs, I'll let others more knowledgeable in this regard than me analyze your load order and reply with what seems odd to them.

From what I've read, the keychain mod can cause problems. With DarnUI you hardly even need it anyway. I no longer use it and I can't say I really miss it.

Also, the last time I used Natural environments was a long time ago. I remember that setup crashing a lot as well, but I can't say for certain whether those mods were to blame.

Do you use Oblivion stutter remover? It might improve stability. In my most recent setup I also included Memory purger, which seems to have improved my game's stability as well, may be worth a shot.

Finally, look at your BOSS log. Does it mention any mods that need cleaning? Doing that might help as well.
