Najene
Yes. Another noob modder screws up something. I tried loading a couple of mods and they didn't work correctly with my current set of mods. I then tried "fixing" them with TES editor and ended up with them still not working but now stuck as unchecked boxes in my Data Files even though I have deleted the actual files from the game on my hard drive from the program Data folder. They aren't really conflicting with anything but it is annoying. Is there a way to get rid of the reference to the now non existent plugin? Jenrai
There's an issue floating around with edited .esps being saved in the "virtual store" in vista & 7, the place where it stores files that are being edited, or have been edited for rollbacks. You could try looking in there, though I've not had much experience with either 7 or Vista when it comes to modding as I still use xp on my gaming system, but thats about the only thing I can think of for that one. Sorry I can't be of more help. Jenrai
Tamujiin
Another way is to delete your data file and reinstall. If your having issues with installing mods, first thing you should do is read the read me!!!!, second if you havent already download OBMM. third and formost and the easiest way to install a mod is if it has a mesh and texture folder drag that manually into your oblivion directory, right click on your shortcut, click on open file location open the data folder and just drag the folder in there. and if it wants to replace something click yes. If its a data folder just open file location and drag the folder into but not into the data folder drag it till theres a bklack line and it asks to merge the file. If you really dont know what yer doing dont modify an esp. And if yer modding there is a modders manual you can dl right here on the nexus....helped me a bunch..Good luck and good modding....May the force be with you.
