AJJEREMY
I'm having a problem. I have downloaded SKSE via both the installer and manually. When I Press "Launch Skyrim" in the NMM, It doesn't launch using SKSE. I know this because I put in the command: getskseversion, and nothing pops up. This is annoying because I can't use of my Nexus mods, only my steam subscribed mods, because I'm having to only launch from the SKSE Launcher. ------------------------ • I DO HAVE SKSE, SkyUI and NMM installed correctly• The Nexus mods run fine when I run them from the Nexus Mod Manager, if they do not require SKSE. ----------------------- My Question is: How do I get NMM to launch SKSE, not the steam launcher? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. :)
AJJEREMY
Add on: I've heard there's a "Launch SKSE" button on NMM, that doesn't appear either.
Xelan255
Yes, there should be a option in the NMM which looks like this after clicking on the little arrow right of "launch skyrim" If you set it to launch skse it will use it and skip the steam launcher. If the "Launch SKSE" option isn't there, try to install skse via the installer again (make sure it gets the right path to skyrim's install directory) and restart the NMM. HamFalcon
I don't get that option at all. I just try to enable the SkyUI mod on NMM and it says: Problem #1:-----------The Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) is not installed. Solution:Get the latest SKSE version from 'http://skse.silverlock.org/' and install it. Is this because I downloaded it on Steam? On the nexusmods website for SkyUI, the creator of the mod said it cold work with Steam as well.
evon7D
I had this issue as well, and all I had to do was install SKSE again. Then, when I opened NMM, the option to launch the SKSE version of Skyrim was there. Not sure what prevented it from showing up the first time, but it works now.
