nexus5934
Thankyou all for your mods they are fantastic and really enhance game play. Whilst using Perk Trees Mod by Ghost I accidently came upon a way to increase from 7 the number of abilities you can activate. Here goes. XCom EU using allow GameCore.ini load.Rookie mobility set to 100 for easier testing. New Game. After the first mission you get to the base for the first time. Use defaultinput.ini to raise your squads rank level. Levelupbarracks1, don't use 7 as we want to go up the promotions ladder 1 rank at a time. So after mission 1 our 4 squaddies are all at squaddie level.Raise them all to corporal using the level up barracks cheats. Choose a level 2 ability for arguments sake level2 ability A chosen, Ability B not chosen.Level up to sergeant, again coose a level 3 ability, Level3 ability A chosen, Ability B not chosen. Save, close game close steam. Using the Perk tree mod by Ghost. Move the level 3 ability A chosen into the level2 ability B not chosen slot. copy pasting.Move the level2 ability B not chosen into the level 3 ability A chosen slot. So level 2 corporal has 2 active chosen abilities.Level 3 has 2 unchosen abilities. Add the new perk tree lisitng with GUI patcher. Restart the game, load the save. My result, the assault soldier I was testing this on had both level 2 abilities active ( 1 of them previously being a level 3 chosen ability). Both of the level 3 abilities were open for choosing again. ( 1 of them previously being the level 2 non chosen ability. ). Tested in base both active level 2 abilities show up in base and were active in the mission test idid. Now rank up 1 and repeat, the level 4 choice into the level 3 unchosen and the level 3 unchosen ability into the level 4 chosen slot. Now both level 3 abilities are active and both level 4 abilities are open for choosing. Don't know how far this can go but so far im 2 abilities up with no crashing and oth functioning and active in the missions. Regards all.

Cant get bulletswarm to work with another class though.
dubiousintent
Have you seen the wiki article "XCOM:EU Perks"? It pertains to vanilla EU and is the foundational information for all the various perk mods. Among other things, it points out that "Bullet Swarm" is initially restricted to the Heavy class, but also links to a mod that got around it. -Dubious-
nexus5934
Ive looked at it, yet to find the time to become familiar with it, does it allow more ability slots, I find having all 12 abilities active for each class really adds to the enjoyment of the game.I wish there was a way of sorting soldiers by class.
