blue_fox
Which version of Blender would be better to get? There's the older Blender 2.25 and the newer Blender 2.49b? edit: It seems the link to the 2.25 on Blender's website is broken. I might have to risk 2.49b again. pkleiss
I use 2.49b, the latest and greatest.
blue_fox
That's what I'm going to try and use again. It caused my graphics driver to crash last time I used it. It might have been something I did though. So I'm going to be careful this time.
DivineRage
I prefer modelling in 2.5 nowadays. Sadly, there are 2 features I really miss, the first being the bevel operator, which is a must really, and the other being the skin faces/edgeloops. Both of these are not coming back until Bmesh is merged with the trunk. Could take all the way till the stable 2.6 release. Sad. Nevertheless! It's still awesome and more of this time than 2.49b. If you need to do stuff that you can't, open the file in 2.49b. As long as you don't have animation data (afaik that's the only problem area) you'll be fine.
