Elliott564
A couple months ago before I took a hiatus from New Vegas I had been playing with TTW with NVSE and NV4GB. About a week ago I felt like playing again and to my surprise, I was faced with a crash whenever I launched the NV4GB shortcut. I have not changed anything related to this game since I last played it, and can't seem to find much information on my problem. When launching the shortcut, it will do the usual green bar loading, finish it, and come up with this message: http://i.imgur.com/wXgi5fL.png The Problem Details read: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BEX Application Name: FalloutNV.exe Application Version: 1.4.0.525 Application Timestamp: 4e0d50ed Fault Module Name: IPHLPAPI.DLL_unloaded Fault Module Version: 3.0.2.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 5392abda Exception Offset: 0008676f Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Data: 00000008 OS Version: 6.3.9600.2.0.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0f31 Additional Information 2: 0f3137665bbf0bb676c8a16f3fa76e52 Additional Information 3: f154 Additional Information 4: f154d2489aa483e9a4829b70895bbb4a Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=280262 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\WINDOWS\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt I'm using no parameters in the command line for fnv4gb, however it worked fine without them before. I also have no reason to believe it's my load order as I'm using only Project Nevada + Tale of Two Wastelands in the recommended order. This crash occurs even when using a clean install of New Vegas. I also get this same error when attempting to load my game using nvse_loader.exe, however launching my game through Steam still allows me to use NVSE. (I get version 4 installed when using the command GetNVSEVersion ingame). This is the NVSE error: http://i.imgur.com/4AbMoYY.png The problem details again read: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BEX Application Name: FalloutNV.exe Application Version: 1.4.0.525 Application Timestamp: 4e0d50ed Fault Module Name: IPHLPAPI.DLL_unloaded Fault Module Version: 3.0.2.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 5392abda Exception Offset: 0008676f Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Data: 00000008 OS Version: 6.3.9600.2.0.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0f31 Additional Information 2: 0f3137665bbf0bb676c8a16f3fa76e52 Additional Information 3: f154 Additional Information 4: f154d2489aa483e9a4829b70895bbb4a Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=280262 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\WINDOWS\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt This leads me to believe that the error lies somewhere in using the exes to start the game rather than Steam. Any help would be appreciated!

RoyBatterian
Run them as administrator, check your antivirus. Post questions about them in the comments thread for the mod or the authors aren't likely to see your questions ;)
