macintroll
Effectively check the dds format it must be DXT5 with alpha, (in case of)Only transparency is added via alpha, no need to make the RVB transparent, yes.no need to make a transparency on the env map mask it's useless, (even better to save it with no alpha) All nifskope settings seem to be good. Usefull tip , open another mesh (like the niner's sun glasses) and check your mesh has the same settingsI've done recently exactly the same thing on the same mesh, and I have some transparency now.If you didn't find a way tell me via PM I'll send you the files.;)
macintroll
Just checked in Nifskope :for the BSshaderflag I've just put : SF_specular / SF_skinned / SF_environment_mapping / SF_remappable_textures / SF_ZBuffer_test All other settings seem to be the same. Gambit77
I didn't have this SF_skinned, so I'll try that in a little bit after dinner. Edit: Nope still didn't work for me. Edited July 15, 2014 by Gambit77
Gambit77
Ok using the correct mesh now, Macintroll noticed I was editing the female mesh lol, using the previous settings resulted in invisible in game. But I did get it working. I started from scratch. All I did wasUse the edited diffuse texture.Added NiAlphaProperty, using the default settings, I didn't change the flag to 4845.And then I added the SF_Alpha_Texture shader flag.http://static-1.nexusmods.com/15/mods/130/images/49257-1-1405516762.jpgThat's it.I am wondering if it's possible to apply the texture to the back side of the mesh, because currently when looking throught the lens of the goggles the inside of the mesh is invisible.I found some directions for Skyrim that said to add the SF_Double_Sided flag, but that apparently isn't an option for Fallout, so if anyone knows some way to do it that would make the mesh perfect.Macintroll and imu333, thank you both a bunch, you both were very helpful and I appreciate it. Deleted1205226User
To have the texture showing both side of the mesh, just add a NiStencilProprety.
